Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped figs, dates, and honey.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and add coconut oil and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the fig and date mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix ground almonds, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool before serving.
