- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- If desired, stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
