A simple and quick wonton soup recipe that you can make at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups bok choy, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground pork, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place a teaspoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper and fold to seal.
  4. In a pot, heat chicken broth and water until boiling.
  5. Add wontons to the boiling broth and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add bok choy and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can use shrimp or chicken instead of pork.
  • Add other vegetables as desired.
  • For extra flavor, add ginger or garlic to the filling.
