A simple and delicious trifle dessert that layers flavors and textures.

- 1 pound of sponge cake, cubed
- 2 cups of vanilla pudding
- 2 cups of mixed berries
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- 1/2 cup of sherry (optional)
Instructions
- Start by layering half of the cubed sponge cake in a trifle dish.
- Drizzle half of the sherry over the sponge cake.
- Add half of the vanilla pudding on top of the sponge cake.
- Add a layer of mixed berries over the pudding.
- Spread half of the whipped cream on top of the berries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Finish with a layer of whipped cream and garnish with additional berries.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use any berries you like.
- For a non-alcoholic version, skip the sherry.
- Make ahead for easier serving.
