Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
- Rub the softened butter all over the turkey.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stuff the turkey if desired.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast for about 3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- For added flavor, baste the turkey every 30 minutes.
- Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
- Leftover turkey can be used in sandwiches or soups.
