Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 cup pumpkin puree

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin spice.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Add milk and pumpkin puree, and stir until combined.
- Fill cupcake liners with batter, about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting.

- Use cream cheese frosting for a richer flavor.
- Decorate with pecans or sprinkles for a festive touch.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
