Description

A simple and delicious taco soup recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is soft.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning.
  4. Add black beans, kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and water.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.

  • Top with cheese, sour cream, or avocado if desired.
  • Can be made in a slow cooker for 6-8 hours on low.
