A simple recipe for slow cooker orange chicken.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken and shred it.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the slow cooker and stir.
- Cook on high for another 30 minutes to thicken sauce.
- Serve chicken over rice with sauce.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can substitute chicken breasts if preferred.
- Add vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for more nutrition.
