Description
A simple and hearty chicken pot pie made in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

			- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
 - 1 cup carrots, diced
 - 1 cup peas
 - 1 cup potatoes, diced
 - 1/2 cup onion, chopped
 - 2 cups chicken broth
 - 1 cup cream of chicken soup
 - 1 teaspoon thyme
 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
 
Instructions
- Combine chicken, carrots, peas, potatoes, and onion in the slow cooker.
 - Add chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, thyme, and garlic powder. Stir well.
 - Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
 - About 30 minutes before serving, prepare the pie crust according to package instructions.
 - Transfer the filling to a baking dish and cover with pie crust.
 - Bake in the oven at 425°F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
 
Notes
- Use leftover chicken for quicker preparation.
 - Adjust vegetables to your preference.
 - For a thicker filling, reduce the amount of broth.
