This easy homemade lasagna features layers of pasta, rich meat sauce, and creamy cheese.

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the beef; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
- Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture and a third of the mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use no-boil noodles for a quicker option.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
