Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture and a third of the mozzarella.
  8. Repeat the layers, finishing with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
