Ingredients

- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 can (15 oz) white beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté onion, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the diced ham and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken broth, white beans, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.

- This soup can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
