- 1 cup sugar
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
- 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Pour the melted sugar into a round baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom.
- In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
- Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan filled with hot water.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh eggs.
- You can add a pinch of salt for flavor.
- Serve chilled for a refreshing dessert.
