Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to a boil.
  3. Add flour and stir until the mixture forms a ball.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Spoon the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  9. In another bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  10. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  11. Once the puffs are cool, cut them in half and fill with the cream mixture.
