Description

Delicious and easy chocolate rum truffles for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup dark rum
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it simmers.
  2. Remove from heat and add dark chocolate chips, stirring until melted.
  3. Stir in the dark rum and vanilla extract.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours until firm.
  5. Once firm, scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
  6. Roll each ball in cocoa powder to coat.
  7. Chill for another hour before serving.

  • Can substitute rum with a different liqueur if desired.
