A simple and delicious chicken piccata recipe.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons capers
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers to the skillet.
- Bring to a simmer and return the chicken to the skillet.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Serve with pasta or rice.
- Adjust lemon juice to taste.
- Capers can be omitted if preferred.
