Ingredients
- Chicken breast: 500 grams (about 1 lb), sliced into thin strips.
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons.
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced.
- Broccoli: 300 grams (about 10 oz), cut into florets.
- Rice: 1 cup (uncooked).
- Soy sauce: 4 tablespoons.
- Sesame seeds: 2 tablespoons, toasted.
- Salt and pepper: to taste.
- Water: 2 cups (for cooking rice).
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
- Cut the broccoli into small florets.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 30 seconds, then add the broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, add soy sauce, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve over a bed of rice and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

- Feel free to customize with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with tofu or tempeh.
