Ingredients

  • Chicken breast: 500 grams (about 1 lb), sliced into thin strips.
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons.
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced.
  • Broccoli: 300 grams (about 10 oz), cut into florets.
  • Rice: 1 cup (uncooked).
  • Soy sauce: 4 tablespoons.
  • Sesame seeds: 2 tablespoons, toasted.
  • Salt and pepper: to taste.
  • Water: 2 cups (for cooking rice).

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cut the broccoli into small florets.
  3. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 30 seconds, then add the broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, add soy sauce, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve over a bed of rice and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
