Description

A simple recipe for delicious cake pops that anyone can make.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • 1 bag chocolate coating
  • lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Bake in a 9×13 inch pan for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
  5. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  6. Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix well.
  7. Form small balls of the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  9. Dip the lollipop sticks in chocolate coating and insert into the cake balls.
  10. Dip each cake pop into the chocolate coating and let the excess drip off.
  11. Place the coated cake pops back on the baking sheet to set.
