Ingredients
- Chicken breast: 1 lb (about 450 g), cut into 1-inch cubes
- Bell peppers: 2 (one red and one yellow), cut into 1-inch pieces
- Red onion: 1 medium, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Barbecue sauce: 1 cup (homemade or store-bought)
- Skewers: 6-8 (soaked in water if wooden)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by mixing it with half of the barbecue sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the vegetables by washing and cutting them into 1-inch pieces.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F or 190°C).
- Assemble the skewers by alternating chicken, bell peppers, and red onion.
- Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with remaining barbecue sauce.
- Let the skewers rest for a couple of minutes before serving with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
