A quick and easy recipe for falafel wraps made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 whole wheat wraps
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 cup tahini sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Pulse until blended but slightly chunky.
  3. Add flour and mix until combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
  5. Brush the falafel with olive oil and place them in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Warm the wraps in a dry skillet for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Assemble the wraps with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tahini sauce.
  9. Serve immediately.

  • Serve with extra tahini sauce on the side.
