Description
This is an easy recipe for caramel corn that you can make at home.

- 1 cup popcorn kernels
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn kernels and place them in a large bowl.
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt over medium heat.
- Stir until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.
- Pour the caramel over the popcorn and mix well.
- Spread the coated popcorn on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 250°F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
