A moist and flavorful cake made with Dr Pepper.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup Dr Pepper
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, Dr Pepper, oil, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
Notes
- You can top it with chocolate frosting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This cake pairs well with vanilla ice cream.
