Description
Dough cinnamon twists are delicious, sweet pastries made from a soft dough and coated in cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, salt, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough and cut into strips.
- Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar, and sprinkle over the twists.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Best served warm.
