A rich and moist double chocolate banana bread that combines the sweetness of ripe bananas with the richness of chocolate.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
