Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by rubbing it with butter, salt, pepper, and garlic.
  3. Place chopped onions, carrots, and celery in the roasting pan.
  4. Put turkey on top of the vegetables.
  5. Pour broth over the turkey.
  6. Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
