Description
A creamy twist on classic deviled eggs using hummus.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup hummus
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the eggs for 10 minutes and cool in ice water.
- Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
- Add hummus, mustard, lemon juice, and salt to the yolks.
- Mix until smooth.
- Fill the egg whites with the mixture.
- Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
Notes
- Use any flavor of hummus for variation.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Best served chilled.
