Description

A classic appetizer featuring hard-boiled eggs filled with a creamy mixture and giardiniera for a spicy kick.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup giardiniera, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs and let them cool.
  2. Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  4. Add mayonnaise, mustard, chopped giardiniera, salt, and pepper to the yolks.
  5. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
  7. Garnish with additional giardiniera if desired.
  8. Chill before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust giardiniera quantity for more or less heat.
  • Can be prepared a few hours in advance.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
