Description

A classic appetizer featuring hard-boiled eggs filled with a creamy and flavorful mixture of yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, and fresh herbs.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in ice water for 5 minutes, then peel them.
  3. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, chives, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  6. Garnish with additional herbs if desired. Serve chilled.
