Ingredients

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar. Spread this mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs or spices.
