Ingredients

  • Cubed meat: 1 lb (450 g) of your choice—beef, chicken, or lamb.
  • Bell peppers: 2, cut into 1-inch pieces.
  • Onions: 1 large onion, cut into wedges.
  • Cherry tomatoes: 1 cup.
  • Olive oil: 3 tablespoons.
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced.
  • Cumin: 1 teaspoon.
  • Paprika: 1 teaspoon.
  • Salt: to taste.
  • Pepper: to taste.
  • Skewers: 6-8, soaked in water if wooden.

Instructions

  1. Wash all vegetables thoroughly and cut bell peppers into 1-inch pieces and onions into wedges.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade. Add cubed meat and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread marinated meat onto skewers, alternating with bell peppers, onion wedges, and cherry tomatoes.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook kabobs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked to desired doneness.
  5. Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, and serve warm with dipping sauce, rice, pita bread, or salad.
