Ingredients
- Cubed meat: 1 lb (450 g) of your choice—beef, chicken, or lamb.
- Bell peppers: 2, cut into 1-inch pieces.
- Onions: 1 large onion, cut into wedges.
- Cherry tomatoes: 1 cup.
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons.
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced.
- Cumin: 1 teaspoon.
- Paprika: 1 teaspoon.
- Salt: to taste.
- Pepper: to taste.
- Skewers: 6-8, soaked in water if wooden.
Instructions
- Wash all vegetables thoroughly and cut bell peppers into 1-inch pieces and onions into wedges.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade. Add cubed meat and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread marinated meat onto skewers, alternating with bell peppers, onion wedges, and cherry tomatoes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook kabobs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked to desired doneness.
- Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, and serve warm with dipping sauce, rice, pita bread, or salad.
Notes
- Marinate meat for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for better flavor.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: chicken at 165°F (75°C), beef and lamb at 145°F (63°C).
