A simple and tasty deer jerky recipe that you can make at home.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs deer meat, sliced thin
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Slice the deer meat into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar.
- Add the meat to the marinade and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your dehydrator or oven to 160°F.
- Place the marinated meat on the dehydrator trays or baking sheets.
- Dehydrate for 6-8 hours, until the jerky is dry but still slightly flexible.
- Let it cool before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
- Use lean cuts of meat for best results.
- Adjust spices to your taste preference.
- Store jerky in a cool, dry place.
