Description

A rich and creamy dessert that combines chocolate and ricotta cheese in a classic tiramisu style.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ricotta and mascarpone until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold whipped cream into the cheese mixture.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine coffee and coffee liqueur.
  5. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture briefly.
  6. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in a dish.
  7. Spread half of the cheese mixture over ladyfingers.
  8. Sprinkle with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings.
  9. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  10. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
