Ingredients

- Heavy cream: 300 ml (about 1 1/4 cups), divided
- Granulated sugar: 50 grams (about 1/4 cup)
- Egg yolks: 3 large
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa powder: for dusting (optional)
- Whipped cream: for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.
- Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler.
- Whip 200 ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Whisk egg yolks and granulated sugar until pale and creamy, then add melted chocolate and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the whipped cream gently in three additions, then spoon into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with cocoa powder dusting and whipped cream on top.
