Description
A sweet and floral syrup made from dandelion flowers.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dandelion flowers
- 4 cups water
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 package (1.75 oz) pectin
- 6 cups sugar
Instructions
- Collect dandelion flowers and remove green parts.
- Boil flowers in water for 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to extract liquid.
- Add lemon juice and pectin to the liquid.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Boil for an additional 5 minutes.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
Notes
- Use only the yellow flower petals.
- Store in a cool, dark place.
- Can be used as a pancake topping or in beverages.
