Description

A sweet and tangy jelly made from dandelion flowers and orange peel.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups dandelion flowers
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
  • 5 cups granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Gather dandelion flowers and remove stems.
  2. Wash flowers thoroughly.
  3. In a pot, combine dandelion flowers, orange juice, orange zest, and water. Boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture to extract liquid.
  5. Add fruit pectin to the liquid and bring to a boil.
  6. Stir in granulated sugar and boil for 1 minute.
  7. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
  8. Let cool at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use only pesticide-free dandelions.
  • Store in a cool, dark place.
