Ingredients

- 4 cups dandelion petals
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Gather dandelion petals and rinse them thoroughly.
- In a pot, combine dandelion petals and water. Boil for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to obtain dandelion tea.
- Add lemon juice and fruit pectin to the tea. Stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add sugar gradually while stirring.
- Once the sugar dissolves, boil for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
Notes
- Ensure dandelions are free from pesticides.
- Adjust sweetness to taste by varying sugar amount.
- Store in a cool, dark place for best preservation.
