Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Gather dandelion petals and rinse them thoroughly.
  2. In a pot, combine dandelion petals and water. Boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture to obtain dandelion tea.
  4. Add lemon juice and fruit pectin to the tea. Stir well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add sugar gradually while stirring.
  6. Once the sugar dissolves, boil for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  8. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
