Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa: 5 Comforting Layers

Description

A hearty and comforting dish made with pierogi, kielbasa, and cheese, all cooked in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Place half the pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add half the kielbasa and onion on top.
  3. Sprinkle half the cheese over the mixture.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and paprika.
  5. Pour half the soup mixture over the layers in the crockpot.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through.
  8. Stir before serving and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use any flavor of pierogi you prefer.
  • Adjust spices to taste.
  • Can substitute kielbasa with other sausages.
