Description

A simple and delicious crockpot lasagna recipe.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef and drain fat.
  2. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  5. Add half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and marinara sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
  • You can use a meat substitute for a vegetarian version.
