Description
A comforting and hearty chicken pot pie made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken, carrots, celery, and onion in the crockpot.
- Add chicken broth and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Stir in frozen peas and heavy cream.
- Mix biscuit mix and milk in a bowl until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of biscuit mixture on top of the chicken mixture.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 1 hour until biscuits are cooked through.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
