A comforting and hearty chicken pot pie made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken, carrots, celery, and onion in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Stir in frozen peas and heavy cream.
  5. Mix biscuit mix and milk in a bowl until combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit mixture on top of the chicken mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on high for an additional 1 hour until biscuits are cooked through.

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
