Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken in the crockpot.
  5. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and add to the mixture.
  6. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning according to taste.
  • You can add peas for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
