- 1.5 lbs beef flank steak, sliced thin
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
Instructions
- Slice the beef flank steak thinly against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Place the sliced beef in the crockpot and pour the sauce over it.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes, add the broccoli florets.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar according to your taste.
- You can use fresh or frozen broccoli.
- Serve with sesame seeds for added flavor.
