Crispy parmesan chicken bites with smoked cajun alfredo gemelli.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz gemelli pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup smoked gouda, shredded
  • 1 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place chicken bites on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Cook gemelli pasta according to package instructions.
  7. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat.
  8. Add smoked gouda and cajun seasoning, stirring until melted.
  9. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well.
  10. Serve crispy chicken bites over the pasta, garnished with parsley.
