Crispy Chilli Chicken is a flavorful dish featuring crispy chicken pieces tossed in a spicy and tangy sauce.

- 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornflour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, salt, and chili sauce for 30 minutes.
- Dredge the marinated chicken in cornflour, then dip in beaten eggs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
- In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the fried chicken back to the pan.
- Mix vinegar and any remaining chili sauce, then pour over the chicken.
- Toss well to coat and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level to your preference.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
- For extra crunch, double fry the chicken.
