Description
Crescent cheese danishes are easy-to-make pastries filled with cream cheese and topped with fruit.
Ingredients

- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup fruit preserves or fresh fruit
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Top with fruit preserves or fresh fruit.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Use any fruit preserves you like.
- These can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
