Description

Delicious heart-shaped donuts filled with creamy creme brulee.


Ingredients

  • 1 packet active dry yeast

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm.
  3. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and mix.
  4. Add eggs and knead until smooth.
  5. Let dough rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into heart shapes.
  7. Fry donuts until golden brown.
  8. Let cool, then fill with vanilla pudding mixture.
  9. Top with heavy cream and sprinkle brown sugar.
  10. Caramelize the sugar with a torch before serving.
