Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add bell peppers and cook until tender.
  5. Add shrimp and jerk seasoning, cook until shrimp turns pink.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.
  7. Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet, toss to coat.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less jerk seasoning.
  • Use any pasta of your choice if fettuccine is not available.
