- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, green)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Add bell peppers and cook until tender.
- Add shrimp and jerk seasoning, cook until shrimp turns pink.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.
- Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet, toss to coat.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less jerk seasoning.
- Use any pasta of your choice if fettuccine is not available.
- This dish is best served immediately.
