Description

A delicious creamy herb rice dish topped with garlic butter shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in chicken broth according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink.
  5. Stir in butter and fresh herbs, then remove from heat.
  6. Mix heavy cream into the cooked rice until creamy.
  7. Serve rice in a bowl and top with garlic butter shrimp.
