Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. Add chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir well.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. In a separate pot, cook basmati rice according to package instructions.
  8. Serve chicken over basmati rice with sauce poured on top.
