Ingredients
- Spaghetti: 400 grams (14 ounces)
- Heavy cream: 240 ml (1 cup)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Parmesan cheese: 100 grams (1 cup), grated
- Fresh parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt and pepper: To taste
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- Lower the heat and add heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Season with salt and pepper, and stir in chopped parsley before serving.
