Creamy Cajun shrimp pasta is a flavorful and satisfying dish that combines succulent shrimp with a rich, spicy sauce over pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet.
  4. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.
  7. Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat.
  8. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
  • Use any pasta of your choice.
