- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and milk until smooth.
- Add in the cooked bacon, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Fold in the green beans until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with crispy fried onions. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.

- Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
- For a crunchier topping, add more crispy fried onions.
